HAQ: Centre for Child Rights had undertaken a comprehensive study on Child Trafficking in 2001 for terre des hommes (Germany) and this was the basis of the starting of a national Campaign- the Campaign against Child Trafficking (CACT). It was formally launched on 12 December 2001 in Delhi and has chapters in 13 states across the country.
